The tree planting exercise was done in collaboration with the Kuji Buba Madi Foundation to honour the late Kuji Buba Madi of blessed memory.
HRH Alh (Dr.) Ahmad Usman Muhammad II FNIQS, Emir of Deba, HRH Alh (Dr.) Muhammad Danjuma Muhammad, Bala Waja, and HRH Alh Danladi Sunusi Maiyamba, Mai Tangle participated in the tree planting.
Trees were also planted in honour of the other late members of the Kuji lineage that includes:
1. KUJI MAJI ZAURA (ZUMA – DAKE) 1856 – 1882
2. KUJI MARI MAJI (1882 – 1897)
3. KUJI BUBA MAJI (1897 – 1916)
4. KUJI ZAURA BUBA (1916 – 1950)
5. KUJI MAHDI BUBA (1950 – 1957)
6. KUJI MANU MAHDI (1957 – 1984)
7. HRH ABUBAKAR WAZIRI MAHDI (1984 – 2017).
