PHOTO NEWS: Gombe ACReSAL Distributes Mobile Phones to Peace Committee Leaders to Enhance Early Warning Efforts
As part of its ongoing three-day training on Early Warning and Early Response for Peace Building Committee members across Gombe State’s 11 Local Government Areas, the Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes (ACReSAL) project has distributed mobile phones to committee leaders to enhance communication and operational efficiency.
The Gombe State ACReSAL Project Coordinator, Dr. Sani Adamu Jauro, who led the distribution, underscored the significance of the devices in strengthening early warning systems and fostering peace within project communities and the state at large.
He praised the participants for their commitment and urged them to continue deepening their knowledge and capacity in peacebuilding.
The second day of the training focused on Peace Building and Conflict Resolution, with participants engaging in interactive exercises aimed at enhancing their understanding and practical skills.
