The Gombe ACReSAL has partnered with the Great Minds Women Foundation Multipurpose (GMWFM) to mitigate the impacts of climate change by planting trees in schools. This initiative aims to raise awareness and educate students about the importance of planting and nurturing trees until they reach maturity.
A total of 200 seedlings, including Gmelina, Eucalyptus, Mahogany, and Cassia species, were planted at Tumfure and Shongo Idrissa primary schools. Thirty women took part in this activity.
