Gombe state ACReSAL Strengthens Partnership with Internal Security

The Gombe State Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes (ACReSAL) has expressed readiness to reinforce its security framework through a strategic partnership with the State Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs.

This development was highlighted during a courtesy visit by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, ’ , who led a delegation to the ACReSAL office to explore areas of collaboration.

Welcoming the delegation, ACReSAL Project Coordinator, . described the Ministry as a pivotal institution whose activities are essential to the successful implementation of ACReSAL projects. He commended for establishing the Ministry of Internal Security, noting its role in sustaining peaceful coexistence among communities. Dr. Jauro assured that ACReSAL would provide tools and support to enhance the Ministry’s performance.

In his remarks, praised ACReSAL for its community-focused initiatives, describing it as the most accessible and visible project in the state. He emphasized that the Ministry was created to coordinate the activities of both conventional and non-conventional security agencies and pledged continued provision of intelligence and support to ensure safety and security across Gombe State.

The partnership is expected to strengthen community resilience, safeguard project sites, and foster peace and stability in the state.
