Gombe State ACReSAL Plants 400 Trees in Tumfure
In continuation with its weekly tree planting the Gombe State ACReSAL Project has planted 400 in the southern part of the Tumfure community.

Speaking to journalist after planting a tree the Gombe State ACReSAL Project Coordinator, Amb. Sani Adamu Jauro said the Project has planted 8,635 seedlings at various sites covering 19 hectares of land.

He reiterated that the tree planting campaign embarked on by the Gombe State ACReSAL was to support the Gombe Goes Green initiative of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya aimed at planting 1 million trees each year to protect the environment.

He commended the environmental NGOs and CBOs partnering with the Project for their support. He appealed to communities to protect and nurture the trees planted close to their houses.
