
GOMBE STATE ACReSAL OPENS TECHNICAL BIDS FOR THE GGC DOMA GULLY CONTROL PROJECT
The Gombe State ACReSAL has opened technical proposals for the Government Girls College Doma gully control project, which affects several communities, including Pantami, Bogo, and Kanoyel.
During the bid opening ceremony, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Water, Environment, and Forest Resources, Alh. Mohammed Bello Abubakar Kumo, expressed gratitude to Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for prioritizing environmental protection and the restoration of degraded land, which is essential for safeguarding lives and protecting assets.
He extended his appreciation to the organizers for facilitating a successful program and assured all bidders that the evaluation process would be conducted with fairness and integrity, adhering strictly to World Bank guidelines in determining the winning proposal.
In his opening remarks, Dr. Sani Adamu Jauro, the Project Coordinator of Gombe State ACReSAL, emphasized that the bidding process would be transparent and in full compliance with World Bank procurement standards.
Engineer Auwal Sulaiman of Triacta Nigeria Limited commended both the Gombe State ACReSAL and the procurement unit for their diligence and professionalism throughout the procurement and bid opening processes.
The companies that submitted technical proposals for consideration include Kanode Nigeria Limited, Stecol Corporation, Triacta Nigeria Limited, and CGC Nigeria Limited.
