Gombe State ACReSAL Opens Bids For 21Km The FCE(T) Gully Erosion Control Works
A total of 6 bids received for the construction of the 21 Km Gully Erosion Control in Gombe under the Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes – ACReSAL, Gombe State have been opened.
Declaring the commencement of the bid opening the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Water, Environment and Forest Resources who presided over the meeting through the Director of Water Resources, Mr. Williams Abba thanked the bidders for trusting the process and submitting their bids.
While commending the State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for creating a good environment that promotes equity and justice for all, he assured of transparency throughout the procurement processes that would culminate in the emergence of responsive bidders.

Earlier in a welcome remark the Gombe State ACReSAL Project Coordinator, Amb. Sani Adamu Jauro promised that the entire process would be transparent and in line with the procurement guidelines, World Bank’s standards, and best international practices.
The representative of NBHH thanked everyone present in the bid opening on behalf of all the other bidders.
The companies that bade for the work include Nael and Bin Harmal Hydroexpert Nayelrashed Saif Alshamsi Sole Proprietorship LLC (NBHH), Mothercat Ltd, CGC Nig. Ltd, Stecol Cooperation, China Road and Bridge Cooperation, and Triacta Nig. Ltd.
