Gombe State ACReSAL Meets With Water Specialists In continuation with deep dive into the 2023 work plan for accelerated implementation, the Gombe State ACReSAL project management staff, today met with specialists from the state ministry of water resources.Discussions were centered on developing a Terms of Reference for a study to exploit surface and groundwater in the state.In his remarks, the Gombe State ACReSAL project Coordinator, Amb. Sani Adamu Jauro said the SPMU needed to consult with the water specialists to look at how best the study can address water scarcity and improve food sufficiency in the state.Speaking earlier, the Director of Water Resources, Williams Abba stressed that when carried out the results of the study would be significant in providing an integrated implementation of the ACReSAL Project in Gombe State.He expressed confidence that apart from discovering several sources of water that would address herder-farmer conflicts the study will serve as an integrated water data bank for the state.
