Gombe State ACReSAL Inaugurates LGPMC In Balanga ad Yamaltu-Deba LGA

The Gombe State Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes-ACReSAL has inaugurated the Project Management Committees in Balanga and Yamaltu-Deba LGAs.

Speaking during the event, the Gombe State ACReSAL Project Coordinator, Amb. Sani Adamu Jauro said the exercise was aimed at ensuring project ownership and sustainability of investment at the local level.
Amb. Sani Adamu Jauro charged the members of the committees drawn from the relevant ministries of the local government councils, traditional, and religious institutions, women groups, youths, and persons living with disabilities to strive toward optimal project activity implementation for the benefit of their communities.
He appealed to the local government council leadership to provide the necessary support to the committees to deliver on their mandates.

The local government chairmen and community leaders that comprised Garba Umaru, the Balanga LG Chair, Garba Usman, Chair Yamaltu-Deba LG, the Baala Waja, and Alh. Muhammad Danjuma Mohammed and the Emir of Yamaltu, Alh. Abubakar Aliyu assured support to the committees and the successful implementation of the project in their areas.
