Addressing members of the committee at the headquarters of the two LGAs the Project Coordinator, Gombe State ACReSAL Project, Amb. Sani Adamu Jauro said the essence of inaugurating the committee was to bring the benefit of the project closer to the people.

He said the ACReSAL Project has many activities in the areas of Agriculture, Water Resources, and the Environment that would improve the lives of people at the grassroots.

Amb. Sani Adamu charged committee members to work assiduously to actualize to objectives of the Project in their respective local government councils.

In their separate remarks the council chairmen of Gombe and Akko, Alh. Aliyu Usman Haruna and Alh. Abubakar Usman Barumbu represented by the council Secretaries thanked the ACReSAL for involving people at the local level to participate in the project management.

The two council chairs pledged to support the committee in delivering on their assignment for the benefit of their people.
