FTH Gombe Seeks ACReSAL Intervention

The Chief Medical Director of Federal Teaching Hospital, Gombe, Dr. Yusuf Abdullahi has appealed to the Gombe State ACReSAL to assist in controlling erosion menace in the hospital environment.

Dr. Yusuf made the appeal today when he paid a courtesy call to the Gombe State Acresal Project Coordinator, Amb. Sani Adamu Jauro.

He lamented that the hospital institution has suffered a lack of inclusion in most interventions by different projects, calling on ACReSAL to consider providing support to combat erosion in the hospital environment.

The CMD commended Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for giving priority attention to the institution by constructing roads and storm drains in some parts of the hospital.

Responding, the Gombe State ACReSAL Project Coordinator, Amb, Sani Adamu Jauro assured that the challenges of erosion in the hospital will be addressed in the next work plan in line with the State Governor’s plans of supporting the health sector.

He enjoined the CMD to be an ambassador of the project by publicizing its development objectives amongst the hospital staff, health service users, and the public.
