COP27: GOMBE STATE DELEGATION SEEKS MORE INTERNATIONAL PARTNERSHIP

The Gombe State delegation at the ongoing COP 27 climate change conference in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, which consists of the commissioner of Environment and Forest Resources, Alh. Shehu Ibrahim Madugu, Special Adviser for Budget, Planning, and Development Partner Coordination, Dr. Ishiyaku Mohammed, and the Project Coordinator of Gombe State ACReSAL, Amb. Sani Adamu has continued to hold more strategic partnership meetings with international donors and organizations.

A statement made available to the communications unit of the Gombe State ACReSAL by the Project Coordinator, Amb. Sani Adamu Jauro indicates that the trio held strands of meetings with individuals and groups to attract more partners to the State to support Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya’s efforts of registering Gombe State into the committee of states that are developed.

The statement further explained that the state representatives are optimistic that international organizations and donor agencies will provide more interventions in Gombe State because of the peace being experienced and the infrastructures made available by the Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya’s led administration.
